The New Cheap Chromebook Sells Out at Amazon Too

Just as the new beta update rolls out with new Pepper Flash

The new cheap Chromebook seems to be a success, or perhaps a surprise, since it's selling out all over the place. As soon as it landed in the Play Store, the initial stock was depleted.

Now, the same is true on Amazon, both the WiFi and the 3G versions are currently unavailable.

Again, whether this is because they really are selling like hotcakes, or whether Google didn't believe it was going to sell that many of the new devices or whether Google engineered all of this to make it look like people can't get enough of the new device is anyone's guess.

What's clear though is that, if you want one, you're going to have to wait a bit to get it.

In the meantime, you can rejoice in the fact that the beta channel Chrome OS is getting an update which brings a brand new version of the Pepper Flash that's built into Chrome and Chrome OS.
