Google's Knowledge Graph is proving to be one of the biggest updates to the search engine in history, this while most people won't even realize that much has changed. They're just getting better info in Google Search results, they don't care why.
There's quite a lot of research and technology behind the Knowledge Graph, putting it together was no small feat.
What's more, much of the "knowledge" is language specific, relationships between words and objects in English may not mean anything in French.
Google is making strides into releasing the tool widely, it's now available in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian and or Italian
The tool has been around for a few months, but it's been English-only so far and only been available worldwide since August.
More languages are on their way, but it's going to take a while before Google amasses enough info for most of the languages it supports.
