The Chyrp backend is where content can be added and published to the blog
Blogging may not be as popular as it used to be a few years ago, but great platforms are always interesting. And one of the platforms constantly evolving through the years has been Chyrp.

Blogging may not be as popular as it used to be a few years ago, but great platforms are always interesting. And one of the platforms constantly evolving through the years has been Chyrp.

It didn't get as famous as WordPress mainly because it kept focusing on blogging first, unlike WordPress that recently started shifting heavily into the realm of CMSs.

Chyrp is based on its own MVC framework, providing a solid base on which the platform runs, and is doing a good job with that, Chyrp being extremely fast and easy to customize.

Of course, as with any respectable platform, Chyrp can be extended via themes and modules, while an installation wizard and admin panel allow easy setup and content administration.

Chyrp's current source code, issues, bugs and new feature requests are handled via GitHub. A demo can be tested here.
