Google+ notifications have just gotten a lot better through one very simple feature, sync. Now, when you remove or read one notification on the web or on your phone, it's removed from your queue everywhere else.

"When you read a notification on one device, we'll mark it as read on your other devices," Google's Balaji Srinivasan writes.

"Likewise: dismissing a notification (with a swipe or a click) does so everywhere, so you can say goodbye to annoying repeats," he adds.

If you use Google+ to keep up with news and updates and check it throughout the days, the new feature should be more than welcomed.

The new notification sync feature comes alongside an updated Google+ app for Android. Unsurprisingly, the update focuses on notifications as well, and there's now a new bell icon in the top toolbar whenever there are notifications waiting for you.
