Google's search market share started to pick up again in the US, although at Google's size the rise is hardly noticeable. It is noticeable for its competitors though, Bing managed to weather the storm and hold on to its market share, but Yahoo didn't.
Google went from 66.4 percent market share in the US in August to 66.7 percent in September, as measured by comScore.
Bing stayed flat at 15.9 percent the same as in August. Bing has been going through a cycle, gain in one month, stay flat in the other.
Yahoo though only keeps going down. It lost a huge 0.6 percentage points in the last month alone, going from 12.8 percent to 12.2 percent, the biggest drop in a long time.
It's not just Google that benefited from the drop, Ask went from 3.2 percent market share to 3.5, a huge gain, and even Aol went from 1.7 percent to 1.8 percent.
