Google has introduced a new administration interface for Google Apps, its enterprise suite of products. The new admin interface gets a few changes which should make it easier to navigate, Google hopes, as well as a brand new and simple URL.

Google has introduced a new administration interface for Google Apps, its enterprise suite of products. The new admin interface gets a few changes which should make it easier to navigate, Google hopes, as well as a brand new and simple URL.

The admin console is available through admin.google.com for all users. All users who are Google Apps admins, of course. If you try to log in with a regular account you won't get far.

As for the changes, navigation should be simpler, as Google has grouped settings that make sense to be together, to make getting to the right option more intuitive and thus faster.

It's also possible to customize the dashboard now; you can move controls around to your liking and remove things you don't use.

New users have been seeing the new admin console for a few weeks, but existing users will be getting it gradually as it rolls out over the coming weeks.
