Google built a dedicated page for the Oscars to provide answers rather than links
For a few years now, Google has been working more on providing answers rather than sending people to pages where they could find those answers themselves. The latest such addition is a dedicated Oscars page which provides most of the info anyone would be interested in, along with quite a few links to Google's various products.
The first thing you'll notice on the page are the full lists of nominees for all categories. But Google adds its own touch, you can easily do a quick search for any of the movies listed, watch the trailer on YouTube and even find out if it's playing in a theater near you.
Google is also providing predictions for some categories, they're based on search interest so they won't necessarily have much to do with how the Academy picks the winners, but it's an interesting stat.
According to Google search, the favorite for best picture is Argo, followed by Les Misérables, Lincoln and Django Unchained.
