To celebrate its birthday, Facebook released “Look Back,” a feature that goes through your account history and points out the best moments over the years. Now, it looks like you could soon edit the video yourself.
According to TechCrunch, the edit button is coming soon, although there’s no clue as to when this could happen.
The first clue to this ability was found on the help page for Look Back, where users are told that they can edit the movies with the help of the video player by using the checkmarks on the photos and other stories to adjust whether they appear in the video.
While the button is currently missing, the feature will be launched soon. “We will be launching an Edit feature soon that will allow people to change moments in their movies or update the ones they shared. I don’t have exact timing at the moment, but this will enable people to remove a post from the movie that was pre-selected and change it to a different one," a Facebook representative told TechCrunch.
