Finally, Paper is here! Facebook’s much-discussed news-reading app is officially making its debut today and it’s absolutely beautiful.

Paper will be a standalone iPhone app at first, and it will be introduced in the App Store next week, on Monday, more specifically. Only US users will get to enjoy it for now.

The launch of this app has been rumored for months, as information trickled into the media about its features. As it stands, the app mixes the most important information in the user’s news feed with the top news stories of the day.

Paper resembles Flipboard to an extent. The app is divided into separate sections, with the first one featuring content from the News Feed, including photos, videos and written posts.

Then, users can pick from over a dozen topics they may be interested in, including photography, food, science, design and more.

The app offers fullscreen viewing for content. By tilting the phone, users can enlarge the picture, while for larger images that are wider than the phone screen, it’s possible to travel left and right to see everything.
