Google has been amassing plenty of interior photos for businesses around the world, to go with the exterior photos snapped by Street View vehicles. Those images are very important to the small businesses that get featured as they help bring in more customers.

Normally, interior photos show up on Google Maps or on place pages, but Google is expanding their use. For some queries, Google is now using the images in the search results.

"Google Search just made it easier to find Google Business Photos - which allows you to virtually walk-through a business with Google Street View-Technology. Just click the 'See Inside' image on Search to enter the business and walk around as if you were there," Google announced.

Business interior photos is available in several countries, US, Australia, New Zealand, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Canada, and the UK, and even there in just some cities.

Where it's available though, businesses can ask Google accredited photographers to come by and snap some shots which Google will later stitch together to create 360 degree panoramas of the interiors.

This has been going on for a while, the improvement now is that the photos will be much easier to discover, straight from the search results.
